On November 28, 2018, the cadets of the military-industrial complex “Typhoon” had the honor to visit the museum of history and military glory of the police (militia) of Kostanay region and the Center of Operational Management of the city of Kostanay. It was an interesting, memorable event, which caused great interest among the cadets. This museum is closed to single visitors, you can get there only in coordination with the leadership of the Police Department.
Excursion to the museum was held at a high level by the museum curator Tsymbalyuk Nazira. The cadets of the club got acquainted with interest with a large exposition of the weapons transferred to the museum after the completion of the proceedings, the guide told about some specific criminal cases related to the samples presented at the stand. Among them were the weapons of the times of the First and Second World Wars, found and used by criminals. At a separate booth, the cadets saw a variety of samples of homemade weapons. With the incorruptible interest, the guys listened to the guide’s stories about the history of the development and formation of the police (militia) in our region and the city of Kostanay. Here were presented photos and brief biographical information about all the heads of the police (militia) during the last hundred years. With special emotional excitement, the guys met with modern heroes-policemen, some of whom, even at the cost of their own lives, fulfilled their combat task of protecting the peaceful life of ordinary people of Kostanay region.
The cadets attentively examined the collection of objects and devices of forensic science, weapons and equipment of special units, sports achievements of the police personnel.
Then the cadets were given the opportunity to visit the Operational Management Center of the city of Kostanay. The tour was led by police major Mambetov Amangeldy Zhaksygeldinovich. The guys were shown the possibilities of video surveillance and the resolution of video equipment. Anyone who wished could see the area of his residence or place of study from the height of the point where the video surveillance equipment is located.
