On June 15 on the basis of Rudny social and humanitarian college named after I. Altynsarin the regional competition “The best vocational guidance counselor” among organizations of technical and professional, post-secondary education of Kostanay region was held. The purpose of the competition is to identify new approaches to the organization and coordination of vocational guidance, popularization of methods and forms of personal and professional self-determination of students. All in all 18 representatives of colleges of the region took part in it.
The competition consisted of 2 tasks. First task – “Business card – I am a career counselor! Participants had to tell about their career guidance activities, to show creative approach to the presentation of the business card. The second task – “The best model of career guidance center”, where participants presented models of their career guidance center.
When distributing the prizes, the jury reserves the right not to award 1 prize. As a result, 2 prize-winners won 2nd place and 2 prize-winners 3rd place.
Participant from our college Mariyash Shakhanova took the third place in this competition. Mariyash Ormanbekovna presented the innovative forms of work which meet the concept of new approaches in organization and coordination of vocational guidance activities, and increase the level of awareness of students about the professions and occupations of our college. Congratulations!
