On May 26 in Kostanay Construction College there was an on-site training on evacuation of students from classrooms under the threat of a terrorist act of a man-made nature. Its main participants were teachers and students, paramedics branch of GU “Center for Disaster Medicine,” MES RK Kostanai region, ambulance staff, employees of GU “SAiASR DCHS Kostanai region MES RK” Fire Department number 6 of Kostanai, the chief of the guard force lieutenant civil protection Shakirov D.B.
The objectives of the event were:
1. To check the skills of administration, teachers and masters of training, technical personnel and students of the actions according to the signals of civil defense.
2. Developing the coherence and discipline of students’ actions during evacuation from the administrative building of the college.
The event consisted of two stages – theoretical and practical. Firstly, they were told about the measures that are taken at the college to ensure the safety of students and staff. Then specialists demonstrated the necessary actions in case of a terrorist threat: they organized evacuation of all people who were in the building at the time, also examined the building and eliminated the threat to the lives of people.
All actions related to the elimination of the dangerous situation were taken in a timely manner and complied with the order stipulated by the service instructions.
