On February 16 on the basis of Kostanay Construction College a round table discussion was held within the framework of the international joint project of KNAUF and GIZ on the development of dual training in the construction industry on the qualification of “Master of dry construction” (plasterer) and “Plasterer”.
The event was attended by coordinators and participants of the project from KNAUF, regional social partners, construction companies, teachers and masters of industrial training of the college.
Today the college actively uses the dual form of training, acquired through cooperation with GIZ. On the basis of the college functions the only resource center “Knauf Kostanay” in the region, where college students and residents have the opportunity to be trained in the materials and technologies of dry building.
The director of college Kadyrov Serikbay Kamzovich told the representatives of a round table about the realization of the experimental working curriculum together with LLP “BK STROY” on a dual form of training for a specialty “Building and operation of buildings and constructions”, qualification “Construction technician” within the framework of the joint project of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the company “Knauf”.
Within the frameworks of realization of the program the German curricula adapted for Kazakhstani conditions on specialty with increase of practical training up to 78% from total number of academic hours were introduced. In the organization of training for construction specialties using innovative technologies is a constant methodological support of the project, as well as practice-oriented teaching materials from “Knauf”.
During the round table there were held master class at the construction site “Modern technologies of finishing works” and presentation of virtual reality system “VR simulator for dry construction”.
At the end of the dialogue platform were summed up, the prospects for further joint work were outlined.
