On February 10, the students of the Architectural Department of “Kostanay Construction College” visited Georgy Sokov’s exhibition “Hokku in Pictures”, which was held at the regional library named after Tolstoy.
This year the artist presented his vision of traditional Japanese poetry to the public, namely the three poems by the great Japanese poet Basho. The main theme of hokku is the inseparable unity of nature and man, the changes that occur with the change of seasons.
Our students learned a lot of subtleties and peculiarities of artistic skill. They saw with their own eyes that the world of art is diverse and great. They got a lot of pleasure and joy from looking at the beautiful things.
