December 9 on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the library of Kostanay Construction College was an open extracurricular oral journal event “The Age of Independence”. The organizers were teacher of social disciplines Nichubay Elena Vladimirovna, head of the library Velgosha Galina Valentinovna, librarian Bagrova Natalia Evgenievna.
At the event were invited students of General School №23, students and teachers of the college.
During the event the main stages of life of our country – from the gaining of Independence up to the present moment were announced. N. Nazarbayev’s personal contribution to the achievements of Kazakhstan and the role of his personality in the history were shown.
The head of the library Velgosha G. V. introduced the audience with the book of the same name by Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbaev “The Age of Independence”. During the event students-activists recited poems, showed sketches from literary works, traced the whole thorny path to freedom and independence of Kazakhstan.
