On October 13, a presentation of the book exhibition “Historical Monuments of Kazakhstan” was held in the library of the Kostanay Construction College. The purpose of the event is to acquaint students with the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, instilling a respectful attitude to the spiritual heritage. The event was attended by students of group 369 ARCH-1, curator T.V. Lovyagina.
A mobile banner-exhibition “Regional sacred objects of Kostanay region”, prepared by the Kostanay regional history and local history museum, was offered to the attention of the students. Librarians Natalya Evgenievna Bagrova and Galina Valentinovna Velgosha introduced the students and recommended books on the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people for reading.
In the library of building No. 2, an event dedicated to the architectural monuments of our city was also held. Employees of the Kostanay Regional Museum of History and Local Lore prepared and presented a traveling exhibition “Architectural Monuments of Kostanay.” The exhibition was attended by students of groups 379 MSMP-1 and 378 MKA-1. The excursion was led by librarian Svetlana Vladimirovna Burenko.
Expositions of traveling exhibitions will operate until October 16 in the reading room of the library buildings 1 and 2. We invite everyone to get acquainted with the expositions.
