In the Kostanay Construction College, curatorial hours were held on the topic: “Prevention of HIV / AIDS”. Employees of MU “KOCPFZOZH” were invited to the event, Shaimardanova Diana Khaidarovna – coordinator of the program “HIV / AIDS and its prevention” and Yesentaeva Dinara Erlanovna – coordinator of the program on infectious and especially dangerous diseases. The participants of this event were first-year students of the ORSSP group 362 SS-1 and group 359 Arch-1.
The purpose of this event: to raise the level of awareness of adolescents about HIV infection; contribute to the formation of adolescents’ skills of a responsible attitude to their health. During the event, questions were raised about the functioning of the human immune system, what happens in the body after being infected with HIV, what AIDS is, ways of transmission (sexual transmission, through injecting drug use, from mother to child), statistical data.
