In the Kostanay Construction College on May 18, the competence “Craft ceramics” was held in a presentation form. The competition was attended by students of our college Temikh Bogdan, Resnyanskaya Taisiya, as well as a representative of FE Savochkin, Olesya Gorbacheva.
Each workplace was equipped with everything necessary to complete the task: a potter’s wheel, drying cabinet, kiln for firing, rack, kneading table, raw materials, materials and tools.
According to the results of the competition, the places were distributed as follows: 1st place Resnyanskaya Taisiya, 2nd place Gorbacheva Olesya, 3rd place Temikh Bogdan. Daniyar Burbaev, a teacher of special disciplines at the Kostanay Construction College, shared his impression: “This is a craft that requires deep knowledge of physics, chemistry, artistic talent … It’s great that the guys can learn how to work with equipment, master the technology of making pottery, they will be able to understand such subtleties such as firing temperature, material structure, various techniques. ”
Experts are confident that the discovery of the “Craft Ceramics” competence and its development in the Worldskills Kostanay movement will give a huge impetus to the development of ceramics in the Kostanay region.
