In connection with the celebration of the Day of the Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, on the initiative of the regional Assembly, the Unified Regional Festival “Nan – Kazakhstan khalgy birliginin belgisi” was held in our college.
Within the framework of the festival, an exhibition of bakery products was organized, focusing on the national pastries of ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan.
So the following bakery products were presented at the exhibition:
• Baursaki – one of the varieties of traditional bread among the Turkic peoples;
• Pancakes – one of the most ancient products in the assortment of Russian flour food;
• Pampushki – traditional Ukrainian pastries made from yeast dough;
• Berliner – German traditional pastry made of sweet yeast dough, the size of a fist;
• Echpochmak – national Tatar baked goods of a triangular shape stuffed with potatoes, meat and onions.
