As part of the celebrations dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Victory of the Great Patriotic War, a patriotic action “Watch of Memory” was held in Victory Park at the monument to the fallen wars.
The organizers of the event were the chairman of the Kostanay regional branch of the Public Association “Federation of Military Sports Clubs of the Republic of Kazakhstan” Kozlov A.I. jointly with the Kostanay Construction College and the civic-patriotic club “Heritage”. The action was aimed at fostering citizenship and patriotism, supporting interest in studying examples of resilience and courage, the ability to sacrifice in the name of freedom and independence of the Motherland, preserving the memory of the feat of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War.
The grand opening of the “Watch of Memory” was attended by guests of honor: veterans of the Great Patriotic War, Afghanistan, representatives of the Department and Directorate for Defense Affairs, the Youth Resource Center, and the Heritage Club. 10 military-patriotic clubs of colleges, cadets and pupils of the patriotic movement “Zhas Sarbaz” of schools of the city and region took an active part in the action.
The cadets of the military-industrial complex “Razvedchik” showed their hand-to-hand combat skills and their skills, demonstrated how dexterously they walk on broken glass, lay down on nails and glass, and withstand the fall of a sharp knife on a bare torso. The program, with which the guys perform, helps to make military-patriotic clubs more popular.
The ceremony ended with the laying of flowers at the memorial plaque.
