In the library-branch “Severny”, on the eve of the Great Victory Day, a city-wide event “The war does not have a woman’s face” was held. It was attended by cadets of military-patriotic clubs of the city of Kostanay, including the military-industrial complex “Typhoon” of the Kostanay Construction College, as well as cadets and schoolchildren-educators of the youth movement “Zhas Sarbaz”. The organizer of the event was the Heritage civil-patriotic club. During the event, participants were provided with an electronic presentation on the role of women in the war and their contribution to the Great Victory, poems about the war, stories about home front workers, including children, were sounded. At the end of the event, the leaders of the club thanked the guys for their active civic stance and called on all participants to honor the memory of those killed on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence.
