The leadership of the Kostanay Construction College organized a press tour for journalists. The reason for the press tour was the familiarization of the public with the implementation of the republican project “Zhas Maman” in the construction college. The media representatives walked through the offices and workshops, got acquainted with the conditions of training and the material and technical base of the educational institution. The director of the construction college Arman Shamshin spoke about the educational activities of the college, about the specialties for which training is being conducted. A presentation of new equipment purchased within the framework of the Zhas Maman project in the specialty “Construction of buildings and structures” for 4 qualifications was held for journalists: “Construction joiner”, “Plasterer”, “Construction technician”, “Bricklayer”. During the presentation, the journalists saw with their own eyes the purchased equipment and fragments of practical exercises with students. To date, the college has created all the conditions in order not only to train students in demanded professions at the theoretical level, but also to provide an opportunity to gain practical skills. “Every year the prestige of blue-collar occupations is reviving, and the development of mastery skills is especially honored. The main goal of the project “Zhas Maman” is the modernization of colleges and universities in the 100 most demanded professions and the introduction of international experience in training qualified specialists, “said Arman Zhaganovich.
