Teachers of the English language Erdenova.L.N, Batyrkhanova.G.B held an open extracurricular event on March 1, 2021 on the topic: “Why is it important to learn languages?” The purpose of the event: increasing students ‘interest in learning languages ​​and developing students’ communication skills, striving for self-development and self-improvement. The participants of the round table became Edresov Azat student of the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages ​​named after Abylai Khan Almaty city, Baitemirova Diana student of Nazarbayev University, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nursultan city, students of the Kostanay Regional University named after A.Baitursynov, Faculty of Foreign Philology Esenbayeva Saule, Amirgaliev Alibi, Kuzhakov Nurbolat. Participants speak 5 languages, have experience in teaching and are organizers of marathons, seminars, conferences with native speakers. This event was attended by students of the Kostanay Construction College of groups 359 Arch-1, 368 D-1, 357 VTIPO-1 and 8 ҒҚҚSP-1.
The participants shared their experience of language acquisition and recommended paid and free content, life hacks for passing the international IELTS test, instagram pages with free marathons and guides.
