On February 2, within the framework of the decade “Self-knowledge: pedagogy of Love and Creativity”, a book exhibition “Balagha zhurek zhyluy” – “Heart given to children” was presented in the reading room of the library of the Kostanay Construction College. The aim of the exhibition was to acquaint students with the biography, noble and charitable activities of our wonderful contemporary Sara Alpysovna Nazarbayeva. The exhibition also presented literature and periodicals dedicated to the history of the organization and activities of the Children’s Fund of Kazakhstan “Bobek”. The book exhibition consists of two sections: the first section “Life for the sake of childhood”, is devoted to the biography and work of Sara Alpysovna Nazarbayeva, her books are presented in the library fund. The second section: “Kusar bulak tunykynan” – “From a pure source to self-knowledge”, the presented materials, books, magazines cover the history of the emergence of the Bobek charity center, as well as about the project of moral and spiritual education “Self-knowledge”, which was initiated by the First Lady Republic of Kazakhstan by Sara Alpysovna. Librarians Bagrova N.E. and Velgosha G.V. recommended to students to read literature that fosters kindness in the younger generation, the ability to be friends and treat each other with care, explains the importance of knowing your inner world.
