The Kostanay Construction College held a single curatorial hours on the topic “Cyberbullying. What to do?” during which, the students were told about the characteristic features of real cyberbullying, its consequences for the victim and for the aggressor, how to protect themselves and who they can turn to for help.
If you think you are being bullied, the first step is to seek help from someone you trust, such as a parent, a close family member, or another adult you trust. In college with questions and doubts, you can seek advice from the psychologist N.E. Allaverdiyeva. If bullying / bullying occurs on a social media platform, consider blocking the bully and formally reporting his behavior on the platform itself. Social media companies have a responsibility to keep their users safe. It’s helpful to collect evidence – text messages and screenshots of social media posts – to show what’s going on. Cyberbullying is a form of violence. He can and should be resisted!
