The College of the International Academy of Business in Almaty held the Republican Online Grand Tournament “I am an Entrepreneur” among the colleges of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The competition was held in two stages: the first round, qualifying, took place from 2 to 4 December 2020; December 7-9, 2020 – second round, public online defense of business projects. The aim of the competition was to support and develop the entrepreneurial initiative of the young generation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. MSOPE “Kostanay Construction College” was represented by a team of students of group 343 Arch-3 Lugovskiy Ilya, Stepanchenko Alexander and student of group 331 D-4 Pushchina Karolina, under the guidance of a teacher of special disciplines Nazarkenova Kulbarshin Zhanstultanovna. The team of students of the Eco Construction College with dignity passed two rounds of the competition. Students developed a business project on the topic: “Mini-plant for processing PET bottles.” The relevance and merit of the business represented by the students is its environmental benefits. Disposal of PET bottles will reduce environmental pollution, limit oil consumption, and new areas for using recycled raw materials will appear.
According to the results of the competition, the Eco team was awarded a certificate for active participation and a letter of thanks to the director of the college A.Zh. Shamshin. Department of Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Education Department of Almaty, Union of Industry Associations and Professional Education Organizations and College of the International Academy of Business.
