Career guidance work in the Kostanay Construction College was carried out in the format of an e-sports tournament, which was organized and implemented by teachers and students of the college.
From November 20 to December 1, 2020, a city online tournament was held among students of schools in the city of Kostanay in the Counter Strike: Global Offensive discipline. This tournament was attended by 16 teams from 16 schools.
According to the results of the game, the team from school # 5 – Team Invictus was recognized as the strongest team, defeating the team from school # 1 – Swift paladins with a score of 2: 1.
The children’s fascination with computer games has become a reality with which there is no point in fighting. And in a covid era, e-sports is almost the only “safe” sport.
E-sports tournaments are a necessary initiative: they will help children who are passionate about games to develop in their favorite direction, and for many they will open e-sports as a promising industry.
