On December 1, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of the First President. On the first winter day since 2012, Kazakhstanis remember the outstanding services of Nursultan Nazarbayev to the country. This date was chosen for a reason. Nursultan Nazarbayev became President of Kazakhstan following the results of the first national elections held on December 1, 1991.
