On November 18, 2020, in the Kostanay Construction College, within the framework of the week of legal knowledge “I observe the law”, an online conversation “Youth and delinquency” was held, the organizer was the teacher of legal disciplines Velgosha G.V.
The purpose of the event: prevention of delinquency among young people; promotion of legal knowledge; formation of legal culture and legal awareness of students, as well as the development of skills for independent decision-making. The event was attended by students of the “Department of working specialties of a technical profile”, group number 363 MKA-1 (20 students) and 367 MSMP-1 (9 students) To participate in the event, a judge of the specialized interdistrict juvenile court of the Kostanay region was invited – Urumbaev Manarbek Zakirovich
Manarbek Zakirovich gave examples from his judicial practice, highlighted the issues of administrative and criminal liability of minors, introduced the children to the changes in the current legislation. Students actively asked questions to the judge, were interested in the statistical data of the voiced problem, the rights of minors during administrative detention procedures.
During the event, students were shown a video clip reminding them of the correct choice of life path. Introducing well-grounded, balanced ideas and views about law and laws into the minds of the younger generation are prerequisites for strengthening the rule of law and order in society.
