On November 10, 2020, an event in the format of a video conference was held for second-year college students on the topic: “Problems of radicalization of Muslim youth.” The videoconference was held by Associate Professor, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences of Kostanay Regional University named after A.Baitursynova Alshanova B.Kh.
The purpose of the event is the prevention of destructive and totalitarian religious extremism.During the conference, the head of the IRG College, Musina L.M. gave a brief description of the current situation related to the radicalization of some part of the youth, introduced the main directions of the work of the information and explanatory group on the prevention of religious extremism.Alshanova B.Kh. During the lecture, she introduced the students to the main directions and principles of policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan on countering religious extremism and the threat of terrorism, current legislation and programs in this area, as well as the existence of the problem of radicalization of youth in modern society.
