In order to prevent crime and delinquency among young people, an online event on the topic “Zero tolerance for delinquency” was held at the Kostanay Construction College with the participation of college students and the district inspector Kuntazina A.Zh. The purpose of this event was the prevention of minor juvenile delinquency, raising the legal awareness of students, as well as stimulating youth activity.Zero tolerance is a negative reaction of citizens or unwillingness to put up with even the smallest offenses. Feelings of permissiveness and disorder create conditions for more serious offenses.The district inspector Kuntazina Aigerim Zhumadelovna pointed out the need to form public consciousness on this issue in society, noted that only the creation of an atmosphere of intolerance to minor offenses would be an important step in strengthening the fight against crime. She also familiarized students with statistical data on offenses and crimes committed by minors that took place in the Kostanay region, informed the meeting participants about the measures of administrative penalties for committing these offenses, the procedure for their application to offenders.
