On October 28-29, 2020, the Russian-German scientific online seminar “Environmentally friendly and comfortable urban environment in the context of climate change” was held in the format of short reports and subsequent discussion. The event is organized by the national research Moscow state University of civil engineering (NRU MGSU), KNAUF company (KNAUF) and the German house of science and innovation (DWIH).The seminar was attended by teachers of Kostanay construction College: Smoleva N. V., Semenova L. I., tertyshnik O. S., head of the construction Department chikalova E. Yu. The first day of the workshop on “Air and water of a modern city in the context of climate change and environmental technologies” was devoted to engineering solutions to mitigate the effects of climate change in the urban environment. Climate change is the greatest challenge facing humanity today. Global changes occur with temperature, weather, and natural disasters. At the same time, cities are growing rapidly. Thus, urban residents will be the largest community affected by climate change. The problems that arise in this regard can only be solved by joint efforts.On October 29, the seminar held a session on ” Building materials for a comfortable living environment in the city. Ensuring energy saving, sound insulation and fire safety during repairs and finishing”.
