On September 22-24, 2020, the Education Department of the Akimat of the Kostanay region organized and held, for the first time online, the meeting of military-patriotic clubs of the Kostanay region “Zhas Asker – 2020”. It was attended by 13 best teams from cities and districts of our region, including the military-patriotic club “Typhoon”, operating in the Kostanay Construction College. The cadets competed for the best presentation of the team and club, in a creative competition, competed in pulling up on the crossbar, for quick and correct disassembly and assembly of the AK-74 Kalashnikov assault rifle, as well as in the Civil Defense nomination (putting on a gas mask and combined arms protective complex in the form of raincoat).
Of course, the online mode has made its own adjustments to the actions of the cadets and judges of the meeting. The intensity of passions and emotions was formed and seethed in each team separately. In real conditions it would be more interesting, exciting and clearer, but this is how fate decreed. In the final team event, our club team took third place. The winner of the meeting was the military-industrial complex “ZhasSarbaz” secondary school No. 16 in Kostanay, the second place was won by the military-industrial complex “Mergen” from the Kamystinsky district.
