A republican competition dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev “Abay readings” was held on the e-education website Ebilim.kz. A 2nd year student of Kostanay Construction College SabitDias (7 ГҚЖЖҚП) took part online in this Republican Internet competition. The purpose of the competition “Abaev Readings”: popularization of the literary heritage of the Kazakh people, promotion of Abai’s works, increasing students’ interest in the study of classical literature, identification of translated works of Abai into the languages ​​of other nationalities, the development of artistic reading through the works of Abai, the development of language culture, aesthetic taste and personal qualities in the works of Abai, the upbringing of love for the creativity of the great, the spiritual heritage of the nation. During the competition, participants had to write an essay, read Abai’s poems expressively, recite a poem of their own, dedicated to Abai.
