In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 18, 2015 “on combating corruption”, corruption is defined as “the acceptance of property benefits and advantages by persons performing state functions, as well as persons equated to them, personally or through intermediaries, using their official powers and related opportunities, or other use of their powers to obtain property benefits, as well as bribery of these persons by illegal provision of these benefits and advantages by individuals and legal entities”.
The purpose of the survey is to study the public perception that characterizes the state and features of corruption in the public sector. However, information about the course and results of the survey will be provided to potential participants. These measures are taken to prevent corruption and promote the ideology of integrity, honesty and justice among citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
