In the formation of a child’s personality, the style of family education is of great importance. In the process of raising children, it is important for parents to know and take into account their age characteristics, have a certain level of knowledge in psychology and physiology, and an appropriate cultural level (General culture, communication culture, relationship culture, behavior culture, and legal culture).
Raising children is the most important task of a modern family. On what style of family education prevails in the family, the development of the child’s personality as a whole will depend. A meeting of the “Family club”was held on the basis of the Kostanay construction College. Parents of our students, heads of departments, and curators of groups were invited to the meeting. The theme of the session is “Styles of family education”, which aims to correct child-parent relationships using elements of body-oriented therapy. With the introduction of the theoretical part of the meeting, the club participant was offered to watch a video clip that clearly told about the existing styles of upbringing in the family. Then a small discussion took place. Both parents and invited teachers actively participated in the discussion of the main topic of the meeting. The second part of the meeting was practical. Participants of the meeting were offered a set of training exercises, as well as an experiment aimed at drawing the attention of parents to the need for a humane attitude to the upbringing of their child. The reflection of the meeting was a feedback form, in which parents expressed their opinions and wishes on the need for family clubs in such an unusual format. The student asset of our College was also left without participation in this event. The guys prepared a video clip “Cry of the soul of a teenager”. Members of the club viewed it with interest and each made certain conclusions for themselves. The meeting of the “Family club” ended on a positive note with the “Applause”exercise. The purpose of which is to relieve emotional stress and improve mood.
