The chronicle of modern Kazakhstan begins on December 16, 1991. It was on this day that the constitutional law “On state independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”was adopted and entered into force. Over the years of independence, Kazakhstan has become a country that occupies a worthy place on the world stage. The whole country, the whole people of Kazakhstan are proud to celebrate this date. This day is dear to all to whom the destiny of the Fatherland is sacred, this holiday is the main holiday of our country.
On December 11, 2019, in the framework of the subject week of the PCC of social and economic disciplines, and on the eve of the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an open extracurricular event oral journal “History of independence” was held in the library of Kostanay construction College. Kazakhstan way». The purpose of the event: the formation of an active civil and moral position of students, education of Kazakhstan patriotism.
Active participation in the preparation and holding of the event was taken by first – year students, group No. 355 ARCH-1 Aitkaliev Anuvar, Ermolenko Vladislav, group No. 356 D-1 Lukyanova Ekaterina, Almaganbetova Zhannur, Li Polina, Kosyk Victoria, shmykova Anastasia, group No. 353 Vtipo Sermaganbetov Niyaz, Bekeev Sultan, Daulbayev Azat, group No. 348 SEZS-1 Kasyanenko Pavel, group No. 343 ARCH-2 amanzhulova Aidan.
The event was opened by the teacher of public disciplines Nichubay Elena Vladimirovna, she welcomed the invited teachers and students, voiced the goals of the event, set the audience on a solemn, festive mood.
The first page of the oral magazine “Era of independence” was presented by the head of the library Velgosha Galina Valentinovna. She introduced the audience to the book of the same name by Nursultan Nazarbayev “Era of independence”. Galina Valentinovna drew the students ‘ attention to the main sections of the book, noting that it became the twenty-seventh book of our First President, which reflects the author’s view on the era of independence, the modern history of our country and its future.
Flipping through the pages of the oral magazine, the participants of the event recited poems, showed scenes from literary works, in a colorful form traced the whole thorny path to freedom and independence of Kazakhstan. The oral journal was accompanied by a musical presentation, designed by librarian Natalia Evgenievna Crimson.
Of particular interest to the guests of the event was the page “Youth-the future of the country”, which was dedicated to the results of the year of youth, announced by Nursultan Nazarbayev on November 14, 2018 and the development of the volunteer movement. The presenters spoke about the achievements of the students of our College, who responded to the call of the President. They are actively involved in youth government projects, and already today have serious achievements in science, creativity, sports.

The video clip “Hymn of College volunteers” created by the College’s student activists aroused great interest among the audience.
Summing up the event, Nichubay Elena Vladimirovna addressed the students with the words: “Every person living on the planet feels a sense of pride for their Homeland, their people and country, their land and history. And today you should remember the past, know the present to build a bright future.”
