December 6, 2019 in the Assembly hall of Kostanay construction College for first-year students of the Polytechnic Department, groups number 6 GKSP, NUMBER 7 GKZHZHKP was organized a lecture on the topic: “the Negative nature of destructive religious organizations. Forms and methods of recruitment”. A member of the regional IRG, police major, head of the center for psychological work of Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan was invited to participate in the event. The purpose of the event – the formation of knowledge about the dangers of destructive religious organizations, forms and methods of their work, as well as the prevention of religious extremism destructive orientation.
During the event, the head of the IRG College Musina L. M. drew attention to the fact that extremists and terrorists use religion to incite hatred and intolerance, manifestations of extreme forms of aggression and religious radicalism, the desire to attract young people to their ranks by all means. In this regard, she introduced students to the main areas of work of the College’s advocacy group for the prevention of religious extremism. Tuganov M. S. in detail and in detail told about essence of such phenomena as destructive ideologies and the organizations, psychological aspects and receptions of activity of destructive religious organizations, techniques of control of consciousness, signs of encroachments of destructive cults on interests of the person, used receptions for recruitment of youth in the ranks. During the event, feedback from the audience, exchange of views, questions and answers to questions were actively used.
The event was held at a good professional level and had a great educational value.
