On November 12 students of 3-4 courses of a degree in computing and software called for the TV channel “Kazakhstan-Kostanay”. The guys were met and given a tour by engineer for repair and maintenance of TV equipment Azamat Umerbekov.
To begin with, the students were shown the Museum of the TV channel, which houses rare exhibits, which at the moment are no longer used because of their wear and tear and because of the progress of technology, which does not stand still!
Next, the guys were allowed to look into the offices where journalists write scripts for their reports, edit articles – in General, are engaged in creativity to the fullest.
Students were allowed to feel like announcers and record their voice with an engineer who is engaged in processing audio files, mixing samples and creating music for the TV channel. It was also interesting for the children to observe the process of video editing, as many of our students are also fond of photo/video shooting and editing, some programs are studied in the framework of practice on “Computer graphics”.
It was nice to see the television studios that we see from TV screens every day. This morning music and entertainment program “toyl tany”, “Friday night” and other author’s projects of the channel. It was possible to see the professional technique by which programs are created, to get acquainted with how the live broadcast is switching between cameras, to try yourself as an announcer. The final stage of the tour was the issuance Studio, where the engineer watches the ether, monitors the quality of the signal, issues a running line and advertising.
Future programmers, it was interesting to see the activity of the channel, as adjusted for all company required continuity of equipment and various software that will give you the opportunity to find a job at such creative and interesting job. And we hope that our students in the future will contribute to the automation of processes and digitalization of television.
