On November 12, 2019 in the library of Kostanay construction College on the eve of the celebration of the International day of tolerance, an event in the form of a dialogue – conversation “the Art of living together”was held.
“Tolerance is what makes peace possible and leads from a culture of war to a culture of peace,” reads the Declaration of principles of tolerance adopted by the UNESCO General conference in 1995. The problem of communication culture is one of the most acute problems among young people not only in College, but also in society as a whole. Therefore, the purpose of this event was to form a tolerant attitude of students, respect for the rights, individuality and uniqueness of other people. The event was attended by students of groups № 341 Vtipo-2, curator Salkenova M. K., № 353 Vtipo-1, curator krestinina L. S.
During the event, the children got acquainted with the history of the concept of “Tolerance”, learned how to interpret this concept by representatives of different peoples. Librarians introduced students and recommended to read the works of domestic and foreign authors, affecting the problems of tolerance, mutual understanding and mutual understanding.
At the end of the event, a video clip addressed to the youth audience was demonstrated, in which peers appeal to the younger generation to learn to recognize the diversity of people of different nationalities, their opinions, customs and traditions.
