During the event, students were shown a video about tolerance, which began the conversation about tolerance. It was said that the whole world celebrates the day of tolerance on November 16. This day is a reminder of how fragile our world is and how valuable every person in it is. They gave a definition of what the word tolerance means. We learned what tolerance means in different languages of the world. We talked about why tolerance is so relevant at the present time.
The conversation was about tolerance in relations between close people, in the family, at school, between generations. For the conversation, the story “bridge Builder”was told.
At the end of the conversation, it was concluded that everyone is responsible for their actions, for their words and thoughts. And we need to build bridges of understanding, not walls of hatred. Treat another the way we want to be treated.
As well students performed group work, where they were asked to come up with the missing lines of the poem “life is a boomerang” O. Gavriljuk. After completing the task, each group presented the resulting poem, and the original was read by the librarian.
The result was the words spoken by the librarian: “Today we can not solve any global problems with you, but we can try to turn our group into a small, but still “Planet of tolerance”.
The event was held with students of groups No. 13 and No. 14, prepared and held the event – librarian Burenko Svetlana Vladimirovna.
