On October 26, 2019, under the leadership of the head of the construction Department chikalova E. Yu. and the teacher of special disciplines Simikina T. N., for the purpose of career guidance, professional tests were conducted with students of the 9th grade of school No. 7 in Kostanay.

During the meeting, students learned about the conditions of admission to College, the prospects of education, the importance of the construction profession and demand in the labor market. There was a tour of the College, classrooms, production workshops.

Then in the office number 8, where the repair is carried out, the students were given the opportunity to try their own strength: with the help of a screwdriver, screws to fix the drywall sheets on the metal frame, cut the profile with scissors on the metal. Students learned what is a drywall sheet and its purpose, got acquainted with the technology of sealing joints between drywall sheets. Students of the first and second year of groups 350 CM-1 and 339 CM-2, trained on qualification “the Specialist in a dry method of construction”showed, helped and carried out control. Students with a great desire to perform the proposed types of work.

At the end of the meeting, students received career guidance booklets and expressed a desire to visit the College again on the open day.
