On October 15, 2019 in the Assembly hall of Kostanay construction College for students of groups No. 355 Arch-1, No. 356 D-1, No. 330 Arch-3 was organized a lecture on the theme: “the Impact of destructive religious ideas on individual and public consciousness.” A member of the regional IRG, police major, head of the center for psychological work of Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan was invited to participate in the event. The purpose of the event – the formation of knowledge about the dangers of destructive religious cults that destroy the structure of the individual, family, traditional values, in General, posing a threat to the state, as well as the prevention of religious extremism destructive orientation.

During the event, the head of the IRG College Musina L. M. introduced students to the main directions of the outreach group for the prevention of religious extremism, was given a brief description of the current situation associated with the spread of religious extremism and the danger posed to young people due to obsessive ideological attacks by religious extremists. Tuganov M. S.  in detail and in detail told about essence of such phenomena as destructive ideologies, levels of religious belief, psychological aspects and receptions of activity of destructive religious organizations, used receptions for recruitment of new adherents of belief in the ranks. Many interesting and instructive examples were voiced, feedback from the audience was actively used, opinions were exchanged, questions and answers to the questions were sounded.

The event was held at a good professional level and had a great educational value.
