The sixth forum of Kazakh-Russian youth was held in Kostanay. This time the main topic of discussion was chosen – the volunteer movement.

The event was held for two days – may 20 and 21, but volunteers of the construction College started preparing for it on may 18. The guys met visiting delegations at the stations, escorted to hotels and hostels, and then accompanied on excursions. The forum itself began with a small exhibition of volunteer projects. Participants of the forum at this time to be more than a thousand people. They came to Kostanay from almost all regions of Kazakhstan and border regions of Russia. Volunteers-doctors, eco-volunteers and participants of corporate volunteering arrived from the neighboring state.
– A very powerful delegation arrived, which, on the one hand, has accumulated vast experience of its activities, and on the other hand, I would very much like to see the format of work that is practiced in Kazakhstan. I know that you have excellent practices, you have startups, which, as I was told, are represented here – said Andrey Platonov, Deputy head of the Federal Agency for youth Affairs (Russia).

The participants shared their experience at the panel sessions. In fact, it is an open dialogue. From our College participated in the forum 100 people – 50 volunteers and 50 activists. The guys shared their impressions and said that this is an amazing opportunity to learn from the experience and strives for even higher results.
And on the final day of the Kazakh-Russian forum our student, laureate of the Golden book of youth of Kostanay region – Maxim Ryumin acted as a speaker. Maxim told the guests about the problems in IT-volunteering and ways to solve them. We are proud of our students!
