Total dictation — a voluntary free dictation for everyone, which takes place in one day around the world. On April 13, more than 1200 cities of 81 countries took part in this event at 3 939 venues.  Around the world (and even in the air) the action gathered 236 284 participants, which is almost 9 000 more than last year. And online broadcasts, which were conducted from five cities — Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Moscow, Tallinn and new York – were watched by 198 592 people.

In Kostanay, 165 people wrote the dictation, 76 of them chose the construction College. The author of the text “total dictation -2019” was a famous writer and journalist Pavel Basinsky. Kostanay residents wrote the second part of the dictation “Simple heart”. Only 5 had written 6 papers, here are the names of the standouts: Fidan Askerova, Pushchino, Carolina, Anna Gritsaenko, Efimenko Evgeny, Moldabayeva Karina and Anastasia Raskina.
