On 18 April, the students of computing and software 341-1 were a tour in affiliate advertising and marketing company “Region-Media”, which provides the regional placement on leading TV channels and radio stations: the First Channel Eurasia, KTK, NTK, Retro FM Kazakhstan, Russian radio Asia, Zhuldyz FM and Tengri FM. Together with the branch in Kostanay, the company has 13 branches in all regional centers of Kazakhstan.

Since the curator of the group Salkenova M. K. previously worked in the branch “Region-media”, she told the students about the General directions of the company and the types of services provided in the advertising market and introduced the office staff. Next, the head of the technical Department Amerkhanov Askar told about the work of his Department, which includes ether operators and himself. The head of the technical Department monitors the performance of all technical means, not only the office, but also the equipment on the TV tower. And also makes recording, processing of audio and video materials for commercials on radio and TV.

Also, the guys were told about the work of the ether operators, who are in the issuing Studio on the TV tower. There operators in all day and give out promotional material aired on this broadcast. The work requires special care, good technical training and knowledge of the software. Therefore, our students can become potential candidates for this position.

Students who are fond of video editing were also able to assess their prospects of working in an advertising company, because “Region-media” is engaged in the production of advertising for both radio and television, which means that they themselves record sound, produce processing and create animation in commercials.

In General, future IT-nicks could get acquainted with the scope of work, services of advertising and marketing company and in the future will be able to try themselves in the technical Department of “Region-Media”.
