February 14, 2019 in the reading room of Kostanay construction College for students of groups №332 SEZS-2, №333SM-2, 334 K-2 construction Department was organized a lecture on the topic: “Xenophobia as one of the foundations of extremism.” A member of the regional IRG, police major, teacher of Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan was invited to participate in the event. The purpose of the event – the formation of knowledge about the concept of “xenophobia”, the danger of its manifestation in different forms, consequences and dangers that result in society and the individual, traditional values, as well as the prevention of religious extremism destructive orientation.

During the event, the head of the IRG College Musina L. M. acquainted students with the main directions of work of the information and explanatory group on the prevention of religious extremism, was given a brief description of the current situation associated with the spread of religious extremism. Tuiganov M. S. spoke in detail and in detail about the nature of such phenomena as xenophobia, in particular with regard to religious beliefs, about the consequences for society as a whole and the individual, about how this relates to radical extremism. Many interesting and instructive examples were voiced, feedback from the audience, exchange of views, questions and answers to the questions were actively used.

The event was held at a good professional level and had a great educational value.
