On January 18, 2019 in the reading room of Kostanay construction College for students of groups №4 GKSP, №5 gksp of the Department of ODOBU was organized a lecture on the topic:”the Impact of destructive religious ideas on the individual and public consciousness.” A member of the regional IRG, police major, teacher of Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan was invited to participate in the event. The purpose of the event – the formation of knowledge about the dangers of destructive religious cults that destroy the structure of the individual, family, traditional values, in General, pose a threat to the state, as well as the prevention of religious extremism destructive orientation.

During the event, the head of the IRG College Musina L. M. acquainted students with the main directions of work of the information and explanatory group on the prevention of religious extremism, was given a brief description of the current situation associated with the spread of religious extremism. Tuganov M. S. details and told the subject about the nature of phenomena such as destructive ideologies, levels of religious belief, psychological aspects and methods of activity of destructive religious organizations, the techniques used to recruit new adherents of the faith in its ranks. Many interesting and instructive examples were voiced, feedback from the audience, exchange of views, questions and answers to the questions were actively used.

The event was held at a good professional level and had a great educational value.
